IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE AMERICANS

WITH DISABILITIES ACT

Great news for working Americans with disabilities.  On September 25, 2008, Congress passed and the President signed into law the ADA Amendments Act (ADA-AA) of 2008.  The Act makes important changes in the law to allow more employees to successfully challenge discrimination in the workplace.  The law's effective date is January 1, 2009.
